Quartzite is a natural stone, formed when sandstone is compressed and heated deep underground over thousands of years. That process is what gives it the dramatic, marble-like veining our clients love, along with a hardness that outperforms granite.

Quartz, on the other hand, is engineered. It is made from ground quartz mixed with resin, which is why it comes in more uniform colors and patterns. Both are excellent materials. They are just built very differently, and we will walk you through which one fits your project when you visit the showroom.
