Marble is a natural stone, formed when limestone is transformed by heat and pressure deep underground over millions of years. That slow process produces the soft, flowing veining that has made marble the material of choice for grand entryways, fireplace surrounds, and vanities for centuries. No two slabs look exactly alike, so the marble in your home is genuinely one of a kind.

Marble is also softer than stones like granite and quartzite, which means it asks for a little more care, mainly sealing it twice a year and wiping up acidic spills like wine or citrus before they can mark the surface. Most of our clients find that trade off is well worth it, especially on vanities, fireplace surrounds, and other lower traffic surfaces where marble's character really gets to shine.
